In 1992, Industrial Brokerage, Inc. was founded to specialize in brokerage. In 2000 brokerage operations ceased. Industrial Brokerage was renamed to Tratt Properties, LLC. This change reflected our talent and focus on development and investments. To date, Tratt Properties has developed and acquired over 3.5 million square feet of institutional quality warehouse/distribution properties.

Mr. Tratt has been active in the Phoenix commercial real estate market for over twenty years,
with extensive experience in sales, leasing. developing, and managing warehouse/distribution
properties. In 1986, he started his brokerage career as an industrial specialist with Iliff Thorn and in 1990, moved to Daum Commercial Real Estate Services. In 1992, Mr. Tratt founded Industrial Brokerage, Inc the predecessor to Tratt Properties, LLC.
Dan Cortes has 15 years of financial management experience in various capacities. He started his career with KPMG in their Phoenix Office. After spending 9 years at KPMG,
Dan moved into financial management positions in private industry. Dan has a broad range of experience in finance, operations, accounting and taxation and has worked in the direct sales, wholesale, manufacturing and real estate industries. Dan joined Tratt Properties, LLC in June of 2006 and is focused on assisting the company grow and expand its business. Dan is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and the Arizona Society of CPAs.
Tamar Schneider
joined Tratt Properties as the Administrative Manager in 2009. Tamar graduated from Lesley University in 2005 with an Undergraduate degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to joining Tratt Properties, Tamar relocated to Arizona in 2007 from Hartford Connecticut and worked in Management for a nationally recognized luxury retailer.
Tom Steimel, a 1971 graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering, is assigned to all of our development projects. Tom is Principal of T.L. Steimel & Associates, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona. His direct background in both construction and construction management covers a wide range of projects including hospitality, healthcare, retail, commercial office, industrial, education, multi-family residential, senior housing including life care, infrastructure, thermal storage, and transportation. Tom's Civil Service includes the City of Phoenix Planning and Zoning Rehabilitation Board as past Chairman for three terms. His noteworthy Professional Associations are Project Management Institute, Construction Specifications Institute and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
